BAUTISMO!!!

What a good week, we had asiers baptism and it was great. All the missionaries sang nearer my god to thee and he started crying but he tried not to show it. He is a tough guy and always trys to shove off those feelings but he is the man. He received the preisthood and is just so excited to go to the temple this week!!! boom!! check mate satan

Ya so its been a great week, we have transfers coming up this week and we think elder westfall is leaving, my companion and maybe hermana foncubierta becausew they have both been here for the same time. But who knows. We also have William getting baptized this week! he is such a stud! Just wants to really follow teh Savior and has read almost 200 pages from teh Book of Mormon in only two weeks! he is a champ. We are really excited about that.

Its been a great week and we have really seen miracles. Asier for example two months ago didnt believe in God, but once his family strated to pray as a family and once he started to really wonder and think and then do little things like pray and read, he was able to feel those little promptings and really able to grow his faith little by little, and now he is a baptized member and preisthood holder going to the temple this saturday with two of his kids. And we know that their experence will be great, because the little 6 year old is going as well, and the mom Patricia who are teaching still. The spirit and love at the temple and with their marriage will just contintue to grow and soon she will want to be apart of it just like the rest of her family! Im excited to see that happen.

There is such a happiness out there, we just need to listen to our hearts and pray to the one who knows all and knows us personally. I love that. Im happy. I know my purpose and i know how to be happy. its not always easy, but why would i choose to do things that make me unhappy? being happy will always be the better choice, and now i know excatly how to do that. Its as easy as read the scriptures with a desire to learn more, pray with the faith that your prayers wil be answered, go to church and obey the commandments. Obey them, because they are there to make us happy, and they do just that. They dont restrict us, they give us the freedom to be happy, and not just a happiness that lasts a few hours or even years, but a happiness that can last forever. Why wouldnt we want taht? I love you all and i know these things are true. I know it. I still have teh doubts every day but the little things that happen to me when i pray or when i read throw those doubts away. That perfect love is just all around me all the time and I cant deny that, i cant live without it. I need it, and i love it.

thank you for your support and oyur love, I miss you all and love you more

more bautismo!!

hey everyone hows it going. Its going good here in Lorgoño. Im liking it a lot and this week we are going to have another baptism which is so great!! We are super excited! Its samuels step dad, miracle is two months ago he didnt beleive in god and now he is being baptized. And he asked us if he could, it wasnt even like will you get baptized it was like i wanna get baptized: its amazing, what happened was, he startted to reading the scriptures and he started praying and after a few weeks he felt a difference in church and he felt a difference in his family with the happiness that they were feeling. Now he knows that god is there and taht he loves us and answers our prayers when we are listening and trying to be better. I love that, he loves us and just wants us to be happy, and he has the perfect way, all people need to do is try it out and see if its true. Its amazing. because it works

This past week we met with william almost everyday as well, he is getting baptized in two weeks and when we talked about smoking, he was just like ya i need to stop and now i will and boom, he hasnt smoked since. He has talked to us about how hard it is but he just prays and reads the book of mormon when he feels tempted to smoke, its so amazing, he is such a miracle. Such a great guy!

Other than that, we had an amzing time in bilbao and Elder Kearon gave us some amazing advice and counsel that we are for sure going to start using!! he isthe man, and we just had a great experience there!

I love you and am doing great and appreacite all the love and support! thank you foreverything!! I love oyu all!

adios!!

Bautismo

well this week we had a baptism!! so good! Samuel is the man!! he is the best, and just wants to learn all he can about everything!! He is just such a boss! I love the kid. It was a great baptism and his family came and we are teaching his parents they come to church all the time and we are gonna see great things happen with them because they love the church and the happiness that they are feeling. its so great.

also i gave a talk yesterday in sacrement meeting. I still hate giving talks but now i think i will like doing them in english when i get home. But it went well and it was on missionary work so it was perfect and i got to just talk about how happpy the gospel makes us and how its something that people love to hear, we just need to find how to bring it up naturally.

Also we found a new person from cuba, his name is william and he is great. We gave him in the book of mormon and he has been reading all day and loves it. He is just trying to follow God and didnt really know where to go and we contacted him in the street and now he is coming to church and accepted a date to be baptized! he is so good, we are really excited!!

also we get to go to bilbao tomorrow to hear from elder kearon a member of the seventy! im so stoked, we get to stay in a hotel as well, so its like a win win haha. and i hear bilbao is really pretty so im excited about that as well haha-

well thats my week!! it was good and there are a lot of good things coming up. Read the book of mormon people, think about it and then pray to see if its true. you get an answer! I promise!

i love you all and i am so grateful to have you all as friends and family, like for real. thanks for the love and the support.

I found a quote i love “Our life isnt to find ourselves. Our life is to create ourselves.” boom, so true, we choose what we want to become, i love that.

Love you all,
Elder Santore

He received his package!

First off I recevied the package from Cristina!!! yeeee!!!!!! all the pictures of everyone was incredible!!! thank you so much everyone!! my companion and other missionaries were just like whoa you are so lucky!! I am just so blessed to have such great friends and great family!! So thank you so much Cristina for doing that, that was so great, i felt so loved and just happy. So thank you, i love you so much.

so great things have happened this week that have made pretty excited. We will be having a baptism this week! his name is samuel. He is from brazil and is 14 years old. His older sister got baptized a few weeks ago and we are teaching their other family as well. But we are just so excited because we just asked the kid when would he like to get baptized and he was just like, well what is the date for next week! Boom bautismo. He is such a boss, just loves reading the scriptures and praying as a family! its crazy because the dad used to not beleive in anything but now he is the one praying with the family and they are doing family home evenings and in fact we are going over tonight to have a family home evening with them! We are just so excited, they are a really nice family and we have really been able to see how the gospel just blesses families. Because we can do all these things and try and baptize people but unless they feel it, they wont understand why its so great. Thats why we are so excited about samuel, because he is so pumped to be baptized, its not something that we were forcing him to do, its something that he just wants in his life. I love that. I wish i was like that when i was 14 haha.

Ya so we have that going on, and I was in vitoria this past week on intercambios, and man that city is so pretty. I was just blown away with all the parks and the beautiful parts and what not. We got to walk around a lot and i was just so impressed. I have been able to see such a diverse spain, catalunya, valencia, and now the northern part of spain, and alhtough its a little colder up here, the beauty is just a litttle better for me haha.

I love it here, im so blessed. I think its funny that everyone thinks im mexican still, and even though i was hoping not to speak spanish on my mission for that reason, i cant imagine being anywhere, its insane. This place is just so special. the spanish people, and the otehr millions of different people here.

the work is growing and the people are accepting. Its not about getting numbers or getting baptisms. Its about hellping people see that we have a plan and we have a father in heaven who loves us. Everytime i pray i think how crazy it is that i can talk to him, but not only that, he listens and answers. He loves us, we are so small and nothing yet for those minutes when im teaching about his love or when im praying i feel something. For those moments i know im not nothing, i know i matter, and that everyone else does as well. It brings me an amount of joy that cant really be described. I just cant wait until everyone can feel that.

I love you all! take care and remember that i love you and am praying for you! you are all the greatest! smile

love,
Elder Santore
