Another week in the life. and a good life it is.

Another week in the life. and a good life it is. We are seeing a lot of great things. A kid we are meeting with named Andony is really searching for his answer about the church and he wants to get baptized this week. He is 14 years old and just the coolest kid ever. HIs mom was baptized a long time ago in peru and hasnt been to church in years but one day saw the sister missionaries and contacted them. And now we are teaching them all. I love being able to teach families.

But ya really we have had that and we also played some wiffle ball with daniel the other kid we are teaching. that was super fun, i havent played that in so long it was a great time. We really bonded with him and it was sweeet too because we were playinh up where he lives which has like this awesome view of barcelona. We always have lessons up there and its just super majestic.

life is so good here, the ward is great and we are going to have a talent night in a few months and thats going to be so great for the ward. We are trying to get everyone pumped and excited about it because we lack a little unity here but other than that the ward is perfect, everyone is so nice and supportive of the missionaries. we have some great visits set up to eat this week which is great because we dont know anybody really, we are both still pretty new.

Well I love you all and I know that this message is true. God lives and he loves us. If we go out searching for him really wanting to know he will give us the answers. But we have to work for it not just ask and expect it to come in a silver platter.

love you all!! thanks for everything!!

Love,
Elder Santore

It is I, Elder Santore

Hello Friends and Family, It is I Elder Santore.

We had a fun filled week last week. We taught and felt the love and just lived it up in Barcelona. We have been meeting more people here in the ward because we are both really new. Its been great because we can just pass by families and say hey we are new, and they let us in and we talk and get to know them and its great. We always have something to do here as missionaries. I love that because in other areas we would struggle and not know what to do in some moments. so being here is a real blessing.

We have another baptism coming up this week of Cesar. He is from peru and is honestly one of the most humble guys in the world. he is still just trying to figure this church thing out and whether its true or not. We are super excited for him though because he is going through some things right now that can really be improved with the church. And he knows that so thats why we think he is really trying to figure this out for sure.

I love you all and thank you all for the love and support!

my companion slipped in dog poop!

Well elder alder left today, went down to valencia! he is gonna love it there!! i miss that place. But now i have Elder Lush, he is from texas but lives in virginia now or something like that. Super good kid and we both have about the same time on the mission. We have some great things going on here and Im super nervous because ive only been for two weeks but im looking forward to the fun that we are going to have here!

We have a baptism this week! its crazy! we were at Church and a member came up to us and said her nephew wants to be baptized. We were pretty excited and willing to do wahtever and she was like ya but he is 8 and wants to get baptized before his 9th birthday which is in a week… We were like what? he wants to get baptized this week then? And so we are meeting with him tomorrow and gonna see what he knows and meet with his parents as well because they say they are fine with it but we need to just make sure. But we are pumped, me met the kid on sunday and he is such a stud. He is from honduras and is seriously the nicest kid in the world! i love him already, he comes to church and everyone loves him and no one knew he wasnt baptized yet or something. Super weird! but we are stoked!

Oh super funny story, Elder alder was walking home last night and he slipped in dog poop and fell dropping his bag in the poop as well!! it was the funniest thing that has ever happened!!! we were dying and elder alder didnt know what just happened, it was nasty and im just so glad it didnt happen to me. but ya that made me laugh for like a few hours today.

I love you all and thank you for the support and the love. I feel it all the time.

Love, Elder Santore
